Our bus is broken

Posted by Vic Ketchman, packers.com editor on August 12, 2011 – 11:24 am

Our bus has been cleared to go in but it’s broken. Why do I always get on the bus that breaks? At some point I’ll have to stop blogging again because we’re not allowed to take laptops into the White House. We plan lots of coverage of the event for you after we come out of the White House and get back on the buses and head back to Dulles. I’ll restart my blog then and give you the inside scoop on what happened inside the White House. Thanks for following us on this momentous occasion.

BEFORE you access the whitehouse.gov web site, you may want to ensure you read and understand their “policy” for tracing ANY/ALL computers that access their site.

@Jim Can’t we all just enjoy this experience without bringing politics into it?

@Meghan – I never said a word about “politics”, just “policy”: The new policy states the White House web site now uses persistent Google Analytics cookies that track users for up to two years. Previously the site employed only single-session cookies, which were automatically deleted when users closed their browsers. The site does not provide a means for visitors to opt out of receiving cookies.
