Posted by Duke Bobber on August 23, 2011 – 10:24 am

Due to inclement weather, the Packers’ practice today at 11:15 a.m. has been moved indoors. The practice will be closed to the public due to space limitations inside the Don Hutson Center and players will not be riding bikes due to the incoming thunderstorm.

No bad weather and we drove 2.5 hours. At least we saw the players coming out of Lambeau. Thanks to all the Packers who acknowledged the fans. We still had a great time.

I walked 15ft from the living room to the computer for this? It’s hot in here, at least I have the fan in the living room. Thanks to my son for acknowledging me.

We drove over 900 miles to come see the training practices. While I truly understand not practicing in bad weather, not one drop of rain came down during the moments leading up to practice and there was no thunderstorm moving in. We watched the weather closely and everything was dissipating as it moved toward Green Bay. Why can’t you guys make the call to move indoors once it starts raining? At least everyone could have enjoyed the players riding and walking to the practice facility or for a short while. Can players not get wet?…has it really come to this? Please place yourselves in fans’ shoes in the future. Always a Packers fan, but severly disappointed. Thanks.

I had friends from Finland visiting who wanted their children to get to see real, live American football players. They were denied the opportunity to do so. They had come a long and were very disappointed.
