Packers halftime quotes

LINEBACKER CLAY MATTHEWS
(on how it felt to get some more extended action) “It felt good. Obviously we’re getting closer to the regular season, especially with me only playing four reps against Cleveland and not playing against Arizona. Coming out here and getting some more significant time in the first quarter, it felt good to get out there and make some plays and help this defense.”

(on how he played personally) “I thought I did some good things. There is always room for improvement, there is no doubt about that. We will just build on this, myself personally and as a defense and just keep continuing to progress for that Sept. 8 opener.”

(on the run defense in the first quarter after the long Addai run) “Like you said, we gave up a little too much at the beginning. I think it was some missed gaps here, some missed assignments, but for the most part I thought we were playing it well. We shored up a few things and now it looks like we are doing a good job against the run.”

I think the packers, the way they are acting need to concentrate on this season and less on being superbowl champs. They shoudlget some credit for the game with the colts. the way they played and scored, they shoudlget some credit for showing up, they sure didn’t do anythigg else this night
