  • Sat., Apr. 26, 2014 8:00AM - 6:00PM CDT Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale

The sale is taking place earlier than in previous years, due to the construction at Lambeau Field and the work that the Pro Shop team must complete in preparation for the new store, which will open this summer. Visitors to Lambeau Field should enter the Atrium through the Oneida Nation Gate. Parking is available in the lot on Lambeau Field’s east side near the Oneida Nation Gate, which can be accessed off Oneida Street and Lombardi Avenue.

The sale will feature the traditional mix of Pro Shop items greatly reduced in price and other special purchases.

The team’s football operations staff also has provided Packers team apparel no longer in use, including a large assortment of t-shirts, shorts, jackets, jerseys and pants. Some items are practice-worn gear not normally available in the Pro Shop.

The tent sale began in 1994 in the parking lot outside the former Pro Shop on the north end of Lambeau Field and grew into a popular event. Now in its 11th year in the Atrium, the tent sale also was held in the west side stadium concourse in previous years.

Donald ‘rocks it’ during rock week

Posted by packers.com on April 9, 2012 – 8:33 pm

Donald Driver Dancing with the Stars

Much different than his “first down shimmy” on the field, WR Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd showcased the quick-paced Paso Doble and scored 27 points out of 30 on this season’s fourth episode of “Dancing with the Stars.”

With this week’s grade, Driver and his mate continue to climb in scoring starting in week 1 with 21 points, and in subsequent weeks 24, 26 and now 27, with a combined score of 98.

The Paso Doble translates from Spanish to the “double step” and Packers Donald Driver hardly missed a step as he played the part of ‘matador’ in this Latin American dance during the “rock week” themed episode.

Jimi Hendrix played as the Spanish bull fighting dance was appreciated by the judges. Many of the dancing comments were positive and many focused on Donald’s “shirtless” wardrobe.

Referring to Donald’s passion on the dance floor, Len Goodman said, “No one can accuse you of holding back. Without a doubt it’s your best dance.”

Carrie Ann Inaba added, “It’s one of the most memorable moments of the season.”

Eliminations continue on “Dancing with the Stars.” Viewers can vote via phone and text message for Donald only on the night he performs; online voting ends at 10 a.m. CT the following day. Log on to abc.com to vote.

DD, I am sorry to say that my opinion of your moral character has gone down a lot since seeing you last night on DWTS. I was very discuraged to see so many stars/contestants waving satanic hand signs. Who do you want to emulate to your children & fans? I give a lot of kudos to Melisa for not stooping to this. I’m prayin’ 4 U my freind.

What is truthbhrd talking about, “satanic hand signs”???? What are those and where did you learn what they are? I really loved Donald’s performance but guess there’s always someone who will pick out some obscure thing to harp about!

@truthbhrd – Someone is reading too much into the way Donald’s hand was… According to the Christian Bible, believing in such superstition is a greater evil than what the superstition stands for. It is pretty much in line with believing the “Friday the 13th is evil” superstition.

This hand gesture is called “Horns of the Devil” for only one particular case, and this meaning blindly spread among the obsessively religious and the intolerant. Dancing With The Stars is not that case.

Other uses for holding up your index and pinky fingers and bending down the others include…

    - Signaling “second down” in football.
    - Signaling “two outs” in baseball.
    - In music history, German baroque period composer Daniel Speer designated it as “the distance between adjacent positions on a tenor trombone”.
    - The slogan and gesture of the University of Texas at Austin. It is also used as a greeting among students, alumni, and fans. It represents the horns of the steer, their mascot.
    - Contemporary music since the 1960s – the fans use this hand signal while grooving with the music simply to express their enjoyment of the music. They called it the “P-Funk sign”.

But I guess that means that every referee, classical musician, contemporary musician and fan, and UT-Austin student, alumni, and fan are all going to hell, right…? They better repent for how they moved their hands in the air! God’s pretty mad about it!

I am a Christian. I believe that if God is really concerned about things like people waving their hands in the air and eating meat during Lent, then He really doesn’t have enough to deal with in this universe — what, with all of the rapists and murderers… and that’s just on this planet…

I’m pretty sure that Donald doesn’t need to be prayed for because he put his hand in the air. I’m also pretty sure that kids aren’t gonna ask their parents “Why does Donald Driver worship the Devil when he puts his hand up like that?” It is an absolutely illogical leap.

God’s got bigger things to worry about than Rock Week on Dancing With The Stars. If He doesn’t, then I am very concerned…

Donald Does it Decisively ! If you missed DWTS on 4/09/12, you missed seeing a future finalist of the nation’s top competition dance program ! He was THAT good ! Donald got it right, when he said, in so many words, that he should have gotten “10′s” (at least from the book-end judges.) DD’s Scores have steadily climbed throughout the show and should be getting perfect scores before long. Wake Up, Judges! You are witnessing excellence on the dance floor!

  21. By truthbhrd on Apr 10, 2012 | Reply

The bible teaches not to lead others astray. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Wicca%20&%20Witchcraft/origin_of_the_satanic_hand_sign.htm this link explains things. Its pretty clear as to what context the hand sign was being used last night.

  22. By stevoatoz on Apr 10, 2012 | Reply

10 – 9 -10. This is the more appropriate Score for Donald last night! Are the judges tired of pro athletes doing well in this competition? INJUSTICE,I SAY! Just like Bristol Palin making the finals, a few seasons ago. What an atrocity that was! Forgo the politics, judges, voters, AND ABC ! “Perfection is unattainable”, as Vince Lombardi would say, but, Donald Driver is striving for excellence! Get it right, judges, and give Donald his due!

  23. By biaros on Apr 10, 2012 | Reply

@truthbhrd Wow. You are unintelligent enough to trust a conspiracy website that says that Sarah Palin doing the sign language of “I love you” is her selling her soul to the devil to “win an election” for vice president (which is not an elected position)? And that a pentagon, a symbol of strength and solidarity, was chosen by the US government because the government, at its roots, is evil?

That webpage spoke just like brainwashing propaganda.

Not to mention how poorly assembled your website is… Any credible website today doesn’t have the web design and color palette from 1996.

The Bible also says watch for false prophets; they appear as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. — Satan quoted the Torah when trying to get Jesus to sin.

Donald was fantastic and did not demonstrate demonic rituals or hand signals. It is outrageous to think that he was.

Seriously, you need to get out of your weird bubble and into the real world. Read a book and learn something.

  24. By truthbhrd on Apr 11, 2012 | Reply

@biaros, That was not “my” website as U claim. I agree that the palin pic was out of line. I only offered that link as an example of the hand signs. Maybe you’ll like this link better: http://www.exposingsatanism.org/signsymbols.htm .

My point in trying to bring this to DD’s attn was because he most likely didn’t realize what he was doing. Remember it was almost the whole cast on DWTS that was waving the hand sign.

A couple years ago I spent some time with KGB in prayer & conversation about his walk towards Christ. Pretty remarkable story to say the least. He’s a man of good character, as I’m sure DD is. That does not mean they are perfect though. Nor am I.

I never accused DD of being a satanist, or anyone else. As a Christian, as you profess to be, you already know we all need prayers & accountability from e/o. Why do you mock me? I have caused you no harm.

Why do you harbor such hatred? Jesus said, “By their fruit you will recognize them.”
What fruit do you bare? What clothing do you wear?
