Driver keeps pace with Foxtrot on DWTS

Posted by packers.com on April 23, 2012 – 8:39 pm

The fast-paced Foxtrot proved to be the right pace for WR Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, scoring 27 out of 30 total points for the third consecutive week.

“You are a showman, you put so much into it,” said Judge Bruno Tonioli. “Your performances get better and better.”

The couple, dressed in bright aqua, shared the stage with the Motown greats, The Temptations singing one of their hit songs, “The Way You Do The Things You Do.”

Last week, Judge Len Goodman provided Donald with his low score of the week, 7 points. Goodman complimented the team this week and provided them a score of 9 points along with the other two judges.

“You came out and exploded,” said Goodman. “I love the way you do the things you do.”

During their post-dance interview with Brooke Burke, the couple congratulated each other accordingly.

“I need to get better,” Driver said when prompted on how he would get one of “Len’s 10’s”

Eliminations continue on “Dancing with the Stars.” Viewers can vote via phone and text message for Donald only on the night he performs; online voting ends at 10 a.m. CT the following day. Log on to abc.com to vote.

I am really sick of those judges overlooking Donald. I am goinng to go buy 10 of those cheap throwaway cell phones and get serious.

Donald you are the best. Your scores have been the most consistent. You are going to win because you are the best and your fans are the most consistent, too. Nobody would watch that show if it wasn’t for you. That is a fact.

Donald and Peta–you are being underscored!! Being from Wisconsin we could demand a recall vote. Cheryl and William should be booted off for “lewd and indecent” behavior—that in no way could be construed as dancing and Bruno and the other two judges should be ashamed of the scores they gave them–a 10!!!!!

I was so excited when Donald Driver showed up on my favorite program. I Love dancing and when he started out I really thought he was a quick learner, then as he progressed. he had Peta were unbelievable, and each time he dances, I can’t believe how he keeps getting better and better. My husband are rooting for him because we feel he deserves to win. We are snowbirds in LasVegas, but home in Little Chute, Wi. WE HOPE HE WINS!!!!
