Packers are on the clock

Posted by Mike Spofford on April 26, 2012 – 9:37 pm

Houston took Illinois DE Whitney Mercilus at 26, and Cincinnati took Wisconsin G Kevin Zeitler at 27.

Now it’s the Packers’ turn at 28. As for defensive players, both Alabama’s Courtney Upshaw and USC’s Nick Perry are on the board.

I love Charles Woodson, but feel his speed has somewhat slowed. But Charles is aggresive, plays angles well and I believe would be the best safety in the league if moved there. Lets get / trade for a corner and we got the defense covered.

More depth on O-Line still needed. (See injuries last season.)
