Tuesday will be last public practice until training camp

Posted by Mike Spofford on June 8, 2012 – 3:49 pm

The Packers will wrap up their offseason program with a three-day minicamp, Tuesday through Thursday (June 12-14). All three practices will be held at 10:45 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field (weather permitting), but only the Tuesday practice will be open to the public.

The Wednesday and Thursday workouts will be open only to the media, so we’ll have full coverage all three days on packers.com. After Tuesday’s practice, the next one for public viewing will be the opening practice of training camp, slated for Thursday, July 26.

BIG PROBLEMS FOR GB IF THEY SUFFER ANY INJURIES.. SAY QB; NO RUN GAME MEANS NO CHANCE FOR BACK UP QB . IT ALSO MEANS YOU WEAR DOWN YOUR STARTING QB AND PUT HIM AT A MUCH GREATER RISK ! SAY GB GOES 15-1 NEXT YEAR HOW IS HOME FILD ANY KIND OF ADVANTGE TO GB. GIANTS HAVE SHOWN THE BLUEPRINT FOR STOPPING TEAMS LIKE GB.. DRAFT FOUR STUDS ON THE D LINE AND SEND EVERBODY BACK IN COVERAGE.NOT TO MENTION GB IN JAN. IS NOT THE PLACE FOR FOR A 1 DIMENIONAL OFFENSE. I ALSO HAVE TO QUESTION CAPERS STATMENT THAT THE GAME HAS CHANGED !NOT TO THE GIANTS IT HASNT…IT IS IN EXCUSABLE EVER TO HAVE A TWO MAN D-LINE AND A PLAY BOOK THE SIZE OF A PHONE BOOK. TELL ME HOW YOU CAN EXACUTE SHARPLY? IT ALSO CAUSES MISS CUES IN COVERAGE.NO WAY IN THE WORLD DOES A TEAM WITH GB D TALENT FINISH LAST IN THE LEAGUE UNLESS THERES A SERIOS COACHING PROBLEM.

I’ve been a Packer Fan since as young as I can remember.
    I witnessed the 1st. 2 Superbowls at ages 7 and 8.

I confidently “pegged” the team at 16-0 last year.
Two “supposed ball-catchers” (Jermichael Finley/Greg Jennings) totally failed to clutch. We got rid of one of them. Good luck to Greg this year!

However, I noticed that last year, Donald Driver, being the most decorated Receiver the organization ever had,was only “thrown” to by Aar. Rod. a “minimal” amount! Simply, why was this???…
We all seen him catch “one-handed” grabs!, and yet,
“Mike” just couldn’t make him a part of the “attack”.

You know, “that last game”, Donald was only thrown to
twice maybe 3 times at most. Why was that???…this haunt’s me to this day.
Oh, and I believe that he caught every pass thrown to him that game. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

And now, this season, “Mike and Ted” are so concerned of all the other receivers onboard, that they continue to ignore DD. Why is that???

This going out to “Mike and Ted”; You two, with all your so-called expertise, game-planning, play-calling, “screwed” every Packer Fan on this Planet of a “repeat” World Championship by so simply not making DD an integral part of the game plan!!!… Yeah, I’m still pissed… where was he???…
Where’s DD gonna’ be “this” year? On the “friggin'”
bench again???… Only to come in for a few play’s here and there?, because you’re worried that he might get too tired???… Too old???… COME ON!!!…
Is DD being compared to a “starting Pitcher” in the MLB??? according to you???… 3-4 games rest???…
What’s going on here???… You guy’s just signed him at “$1.5 M” to just show up at OTA’s!!! Alot of people thought that he would retire!!!…
Are you guy’s afraid that he might get hurt???… for $1.5???..COME ON!!!… What’s the problem???… Again, the most “decorated” wide receiver in Packer history!!!

You know, if you continue this pattern this upcoming season with DD, and through the “one” playoff game,
to go home to pack yer’ bags til the next season, Oh well… I really don’t think that Packer Fan’s “worldwide” are gonna’ be too happy AGAIN!!!…

Hey, I’ll be happy with a Division Title. But as long as the Packer’s, for some reason, can’t put DD in the line-up, I know that that’s as far as it’ll get.
Go DD!!! You still got it!!!… You “are” the man!!!… We’ll all be watchin’ ya’… In hopes of…

And yeah, Eli Manning… what he did to the great Lambeau Field!… First to Brett, then to Aar. Rod!
And not to mention, Bill Belichek… Twice!!!…
Please, Packer Fans, including myself, Watch out!!!.

Has Mike McCarthy and Lambeau Field been “cursed” by Eli?

JEFF I RESPECT YOUR OPINION ABOUT DD BUT I DONT THINK THE GUY COULD RUN A 4.7 40 ! HE HAS ALWAYS SUFFERED THE DROPSIES EVEN IN COLLEGE… AND IS ONLY BEING RESIGENED BECAUSE OF FAN SUPPORT … ITS SAD TOO BECAUSE I REALLY RESPECTED MM AND TT FOR PUTTING THE TEAM FIRST WITH GETTING RID OF BF MOVE. THE BIGGEST KILLER OF A DYNASTY IS HEAD COACHES FALLING IN LOVE WITH WITH OTHER COACHES AND PLAYERS; MOOCH WAS ONE M SHERMAN ANOTHER ! NO PLAYER OR COACH IS EVER ABOVE THE TEAMS WELLFARE ! DD WAS A GOOD PLAYER BUT THERES NO WAY HE SHOULD TAKE ONE SNAP AWAY FROM R COBB ! OR CAUSE ANY OTHER PLAYER TO LOSE A ROSTER SPOT !AND AS I TELL ALL PACKER GREATS ANYTHING YOU DID FOR GB HAS BEEN REPAID 10 FOLD BY GB !GB ONLY OWES TO THE FANS WHO MAKE LITTLE MONEY AND SPEND IT TO SUPPORT THAIR THAIR TEAM ! HOW MENY PLAYERS EVER GAVE THERE TEAM A PLUG NICKEL ? GO PACK GO

    @Jeff
To quote from one of my favorite movies of all time.

“At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone is this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.”

Donald Driver is the 4-5 best receiver on the team. Period. No Debate whatsoever.

And did I read correctly that the Packers got rid of Greg Jennings??? Thats news to me!!!
