Of all Rodgers stats, the most impressive to me was allowing only 6 interceptions; two of these were off the hands of receivers and should have been caught. Also, since the Pack has a mediocre running game, it appears the defense, expecting a pass, has a definite advantage.

This Pack fan believes that 2012 could be a 12-5 season.Rodgers,although he is an amazing talent, cannot do it all. How can one expect a great season with a porous defense, no creditable running backs, and receivers that seem to drop clutch passes.

dude….. vikings, lions, and bears fans, i respect your teams we have a great division….BUT why would you talk smack about a team that just won a super bowl, went 15-1 w everybody giving them their best shot… oh yeah and they also SWEPT the division, we are the class of the nfc north, the nfc and the nfl….. im sorry we have great mgmt that has had what is going to be TWO hall of fame qbs following each other….. just stop, i know you love your teams i get it but dont come to a packers website and try to talk down…. its a little embarassing.

Give the vikings a break. The best games in the NFL happen in the NFC North. Yes, they may be our rivals and sworn enemies just like Lions and that terrible excuse of a team called the Bears but if they were not around then the Packers wouldnt be the team they are today. Still hate these teams on gameday but also cheerish the fact that they are a part of Packer’s history.

Congrats Aaron on everything you win. You deserve it for sure.

Also want to give a what up to Vikingsfool. Packer fans need people like you to remind them where they came from in the 70′s and 80′s. Your a funny guy, please keep my fellow fans on thier toes!

All they want is for the tax payers to build them a new stadium so they can play so, so in it. I hope the Vikes can play just a little better than the last few years. No surprise here. Aaron was the best player in the NFL last year. We are blessed to have this type of talent at QB. I have been blessed to see in person three of the best the NFL has ever had. Starr, Favre and now Rodgers. I know it is too early to put Aaron in that category, however he is well on his way.
Believe me, I have watched a lot of Football in my years.

I think Greg Jennings put it best. He said something along the lines of, “When you talk about all the things that the more established (longer career success) elites, the Brady, Manning, Brees…you see that Rodgers can do everything that they can do. But when you look at everything that Rodgers can do, the formers can’t do all of those things.” He is just a better QB than all others at his position.

Packhater makes a good point, but GB recieving corps are good enough to make a sub-par QB look great. Look at how good Flynn did last year, amazing numbers, yet he is fighting for a starting job with T-Jack???? Say’s a lot about the talent that surrounds Rodgers. As a Vikings fan, I hate to admit it, but the GB offense is a well oiled machine, and it makes me want to vomit.

Big Cheese, you’re right. Most of us bloggers on vikings.com are looking at an 8-8 record as sufficent for such a young team. Of course, we would love to see the Vikings as a sleeper team, but we also know that it is rather unlikely. Can’t get much worse than 3-13.

I agree, the Packers have learned from past mistakes and have done a good job, not falling into those pitalls. What I notice most is this, aged players are less likely to be re-signed, there are little splashy signings in free agency, and they have tried to build the team, primarily, through the draft. I think Vikings GM, Rick Speilman, is modeling the build philosophy after what has happened in GB. The Vikings made no splashy signings, is building through the draft, and commiting to becoming younger. 2012, may not be a breakout year for the franchise, but we all have our fingers crossed for the bigger picture. It seemed to work for GB, I hope it works for minny as well. The division is a much better place with the Vikings and Packers on top.

It’s called Titletown for a reason….My guess is 14 X’s next season. . . The Packers learn from their mistakes, and correct them, build, and grow. Becoming a dynasty in the NFL today is not an easy task, but with the team the Packers have, they will be in contention for some years to come. I’m happier than a fat tick on a lazy dog about the upcoming season. If the queens win half their games, I’m sure the Fool will be happier than a sissy in boy’s town. ..

I was really bumbed when news came that the new house would have a roof. The vikes went to 4 super bowls, and 6 NFC championship games when playing at the old met. The record has dropped considerably since moving indoors.

I’ve actually never been to a game at the dome. Used to go to many twins games, but football is way better at home on the couch. Although, the Vikings are playing outdoors for two seasons while the new stadium is being built. I’m definatly going to some november-december games at TCF bank stadium. That is the way football was meant to be played.

So the Packers went 15-1 last season, a feat that only a few teams have done. That being said, the possibility of repeating or going undefeated are slim at best. How good do you think the will do in 2012? 14-2, 13-3, 12-4, or 11-5. my guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3-5 losses. I’d prefer it to be worse, but realistically…what do packerbackers think?
