Packers hit the links with celebrity golfers

Several Packers players are hitting the links this week at the 2012 American Century Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, Nev. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, WR Donald Driver, LB A.J. Hawk and former WR Sterling Sharpe are participating in the celebrity tournament. More than 80 of the biggest sports and entertainment stars are playing in the made-for-TV event. It’s not the first appearance by Packers players in the annual week of events. Hawk took home long drive competition honors in 2009 and 2011 with his blasts of 322 and 337 yards, respectively.

2012 marks Rodgers‘ eighth appearance in the event. His best finish was in 2006, when he tied for 32nd. Last year he tied for 39th.

Rodgers, Hawk and Brian Baummgartner (Kevin Malone on NBC’s The Office) played a round of golf on Tuesday (photo above).

Hey fool, nice of you to think of us. If I had to guess, you’re going to be donning the Green & Gold, and shouting Go Pack Go, in the very near future. If not, good luck to your Team.

Rodgers looks like he’s been working out and Hawk looks like a QB.

Perhaps next year the Viqueens could caddy for Arod and the Pack and maybe pick up some tips on playing competitive football.

I glad they clarified that other guy is Kevin from The Office. Initially staring at the picture, I was trying to determine which of the O-lineman blew up over the summer.

Drool. You say you’re NOT a Packers fan, yet you’re still here. It’s nice to see you want the Pack to go 9-6. For a queens fan, that’s a good record. I would like to see the tikes go 0-16. I hate your team, so I wish nothin’ but the worst. Finally, shout out to montana. Hey friend, long time. BIG CHEESE, hey!! GO PACK GO!!!!!!
