Walden suspended for regular-season opener
Posted by on July 31, 2012 – 4:07 pmOLB Erik Walden has been suspended for the Packers’ Sept. 9 regular-season opener. The NFL released the following statement on Tuesday:
“Erik Walden of the Green Bay Packers has been suspended without pay for the team’s first game of the 2012 regular season for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.
Walden will be eligible to return to the Packers’ active roster on Monday, Sept. 10 following the team’s Sept. 9 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Walden is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.”
