i agree…i think we should get rid of Finely while teams think he is still good…i would go for a RB, O line, or a back up QB in case Rodgers somehow is injured…i dunno about you… but i dont trust Harrel…

Hey the Pack has running backs, they need a great back. They also have a really good recieving corps, with some talked about good guys being held on the practice squad. They have two questionable, talented, but maybe injury prone or dropsies, players that we really dont know if they can be used to upgrade. The pack also needs real help on both lines. Where is the most urgent need and how do you fill it? Again, they need a great back, they have regular backs. They need an O line lift, and a D line helper. Wow, thanks TT go do your job.

He does take defenders, but he drops almost every ball he gets. He had 19 last season. Most in the nfl. Rodgers doesn’t trust him. He was really good his rookie year but he has declined since.

Sam, I agree about Finley’s drawing defenders, but they need to restructure his deal for less money going forward.

It will be interesting to see how the Jennings thing plays out. If I were him, I’d look to stay in GB for good, but not outrageous, money. I just have this idea that if a St. Louis signs him for big money, it will end up rating as a bust. That’s the common sense side of it all. But agents don’t operate from a premise of common sense.

I agree with some on Finley,i believe hes over rated and for some reason likes to be singled out.Not to sound terrible but seems hes still in the hood,thats super if your in the hood,but hes a greenbay packer now.

The thing many people do not notice about Finley is his ability to take defenders away from our other receivers. Defenses game plan against him because they know how dangerous he is. The number one TE for the team is similar the number 1 receiver for the team. Defenses put their best against them which leaves their lower ranking defenders against Cobb Jones and Driver. Also he has dropped a lot LESS than people think. His drops are just heightened by the big ones that people notice. Remember a few years ago when Jones had a few big drops then everyone notices his drops the rest of the year and wanted to trade him? same story here. Nelson and Cobb have a similar number of drops to Finley but because Finley has a history of it his are worse. Also he hasn’t made any huge plays like Cobb and Nelson to make us forget the drops.

Jenning’s injury may be a blessing in disguise for the Packers. The demand for him might be lower because of the injuries. I am guessing Driver will retire and that should free up some $$ too. I would love to see them get rid of Finley to free up more $$ and give it to Jennings. Finley isn’t worth the $$ he is getting.

Way too much negativity. I personally trust McCarthy and the staff and the players to fix the running game. I read a comment that said”Jones” needs Jennings and or Nelson for him to be productive. While I agree both Greg and Jordy are great assets for GreenBay. I disagree with the statement that Jones Cobb Driver and Boykin. Its a long season weve won 3 in a row. Maybe not as pretty as we want. But thats a good problem right? Not really playing your best ball but still winning. I say give the running game more time to evolve. Green will develop his feel and trust of the O-line. Also Starks is getting healthy and is starting to get some reps. Just Win Baby!

Jennings has become injury prone. He will get his big money deal but end up staying with the Packers for less than if he were to sign elsewhere. He hasn’t had a good game for us since the injury last year. Whatever happens will be in the best interests of the Packers. TT has a proven record of knowing what players are worth keeping on the team

Jennings may not be too expensive to resign. He has had injury issues, and it is hard to say that he is superior to Nelson as a Packers receiver. I bet he will find that the market is not as strong as it would be if he were on the field making plays right now. Other teams won’t spend the really big dollars on a player that may have issues staying on the field. I think TT is smart to let Jennings test the market. Better to let the market set Jennings true value and then decide if it is affordable than to over pay him and limit the teams ability to keep other players.

Obviously GB isn’t GB on offense without Jordy Nelson, his presence gives Rodgers comfort and makes Cobb and Jones better players, and GB clearly doesn’t have the RB or O line to really run the ball and get anything done. I would really like to see Ted invest in some young O line guys this draft, sick of seeing them pushed into the backfield on every running play. Also wouldn’t be a bad idea to draft another big fast WR to keep the group strong and deep. Any draft investments that focus on giving Aaron Rodgers weapons or health are wise ones!

I will miss Jennings if we can’t resign him. Also I would like to see the ball get to Finley in more advantageous positions for him. Get the ball in the air to the big guy when he’s rumblin…not these little 5 yard, stop, low back shoulder throws that he has to go down to get. We need him doing some damage behind the linebackers.

The problem is we can’t pay Greg the money he deserves. He has earned his status in the elite receivers and deserves that or close to that level pay. I think Cobb, Nelsen and Jones have found a chemistry with Rodgers and look really good…when all are healthy and on the field.
