Nice to see our defense totally controlling a game for the second straight week, even though it was against a weaker opponent. Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend for the playoffs. O and D lines will be the key to how long our season lasts. If our guys in the trenches can dominate, the best QB in the league and our skill position players (receivers/RBs on offense and secondary on defense) will be unstoppable. Nice to see Crosby getting some of the kinks out too- hopefully it continues.

Next week will be a very good test- both teams have something to play for. For the Vikings- desperate for a win & wild card berth, final home game, Adrian Peterson going for the record. For the Pack- #2 seed and a first round bye (ironically, thanks to Seattle), playoff momentum, and stopping the league’s best running back. Lombardi always emphasized the need to dominate opponents going into playoffs- so no better way than to go 6-0 in the division this year by beating the Vikings in a tough road win.

Merry Christmas and happy new year to the Packers players, coaches and families- let’s get-r-done next week and get ourselves healthy for a big playoff run!!

I continuously hear about how Green Bay has no running game and that will be their downfall.

Apparently if you have 1 guy rush for 150 yards that is better than 2 or 3 guys rushing for that same 150 yards.

It may seem like simple math to most of us rational people but not to the Football Authorities at large.
