The Packers won’t franchise Jennings. They hope to resign him at a modest price. His down year due to his injury will prevent other teams from offering the big deal Jennings is hoping for.
Lets hope he remains a Packer, hopefully for life.

Its a shame to see Driver not being used with what will probably be his last season. The guy has always given 200%, made some very difficult catches, provided leadership and came to play every game. He will be missed.

I think you’re wrong in regards to not signing finley and Jennings. Theses players aren’t stupid. Could it get any better than having AR throw you the ball? Its not how much money in my mind its who is throwing it to me and if it’s the Best QB in the leaque I’m going to give a discount to stay.

Signing greg jennings is stil possibe. I think thompson would rather keep jennings and release finley to free up salary cap room. Driver has been great and the team will retire number eighty. But he is through. That leaves Jones cobb and Nelson. Not quote White Jones and gonzales but still threatening. The pack need a vertical threat of jennings–calibre to spread defences.

thomas, this crew has shown they can play without jennings. if we get rid of him that opens up a spot for some good young talent. for example; if driver would have continued to play at a high level, cobb would still be battling for that 4th spot. we also have raji, mathews and rodgrs to resign. gotta make cuts somewhere. dont get me wrong, i want him to stay a packer too…i wanted alot of players to stay packers. thats the way of the business.

good to see the team damn near full strength. i dont have any concern for this one dimensional vikings team. sure they beat the texans, but so did the bears. just a bunch of smoke and mirrors if you ask me.

This receiver “news” disturbs me. This MAY BE the last time we even have this AWESOME receiving corps on the roster AT ALL! If you believe the stories, We can’t afford to bring Jennings back, Driver is retiring (which I think is a DIRTY SHAME) because Rodgers won’t throw him the ball! Nelson is injury prone. SO, exactly WHAT does that leave us? Cobb (if he’s healthy) Jones, Jarret Boykin & Jeremy Ross.. REALLY? We HAVE TO RESIGN JENNINGS to RETIRE a PACKER! We’re getting rid of “the MOUTH” Finley, use THAT $7 million to sign Jennings (REALISTICALLY) he’s coming of of a MAJOR injury, will teams pay THAT much for him? THAT is the PACKERS GREATEST THREAT is that they have TOO MANY AWESOME weapons to account for!!! Sorry, I’m LONG WINDED because I’m freakin out about Sunday! (I have NO LIFE)
