Casey Hayward named to PFW/PFWA All-Rookie team

Posted by Mike Spofford on January 10, 2013 – 2:39 pm

Casey HaywardPackers CB Casey Hayward has been named to the Pro Football Weekly/Professional Football Writers of America All-Rookie team for 2012.

Hayward led the Packers and all rookies across the league with six interceptions in his first season. He was a second-round draft choice out of Vanderbilt.

I’m sick of hearing how every time Payton Manning drops one into the toilet thats it superior to anyone else’s.

What is it about the sports media who always seem to flock to Payton or worse spend time speculating whether Romo can resurrect the cowboys? Payton did have a great year post surgery…but quietly ar’s numbers were better. I guess flash matters more and markets better to the public than just working hardand getting it done.

    Roll on green roll on
    I
