Coming Up
  • Sat., Apr. 26, 2014 8:00AM - 6:00PM CDT Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale

The sale is taking place earlier than in previous years, due to the construction at Lambeau Field and the work that the Pro Shop team must complete in preparation for the new store, which will open this summer. Visitors to Lambeau Field should enter the Atrium through the Oneida Nation Gate. Parking is available in the lot on Lambeau Field’s east side near the Oneida Nation Gate, which can be accessed off Oneida Street and Lombardi Avenue.

The sale will feature the traditional mix of Pro Shop items greatly reduced in price and other special purchases.

The team’s football operations staff also has provided Packers team apparel no longer in use, including a large assortment of t-shirts, shorts, jackets, jerseys and pants. Some items are practice-worn gear not normally available in the Pro Shop.

The tent sale began in 1994 in the parking lot outside the former Pro Shop on the north end of Lambeau Field and grew into a popular event. Now in its 11th year in the Atrium, the tent sale also was held in the west side stadium concourse in previous years.

Look out for the packers drafting barrett jones not just because we need lineman but he truly the bpa at the bottom of the first. Also knowing TT he will trade up to the 2nd rd for Montee ball and Zach Ertz.

Yeah…I have to agree with you Mike. There needs to be focus on big fast athletic D-linemen this draft. I like the chances of guy’s like Mike Neal, Worthy, and Mike Daniels getting better next season, but I think we need bigger nose tackle type guys that hopefully will be available in the draft when we pick.

I don’t understand the hype with the Packers supposedly nabbing a tight end in the first round. That will not happen not happen and everybody knows it. I see the Pack taking a big body on OL or DL and if not that then a LB. But we all know that the Pack doesn’t do what we think but drafts BAP, targeting a player and moving to where his value matches the pick selection.

I don’t think the Lions will be able to afford Jennings because they are projected to be 1 million over the cap at the start of the league year. The Vikings on the other hand, have like 16 mil cap space and could definetly afford him.
On a side note can you believe the Bengals have 55 mil in space, but the Jets are 19 mil over the cap. Ouch

I like Jones for his versatility, but he doesn’t grade as a first round pick. He had to have Lisfranc surgery after the National Championship game so he may not even be able to raise his draft stock at all. Jones is a guy that might be available in the 3rd round. I like him a lot at that point.

If he is available, and if he stays out of trouble and healthy in his NFL career, I think Alec Ogletree will be the best LB of this draft. He is projected in the area where the Packers pick as of right now.

OK you Suzy Sunshines: Until McCarthy recognizes that he is a head caoch and not a glorified OC, the Packers will remain above.500, but never threaten a Lombardi Trophy again.

    It’s Lovie Smith in reverse.

There are way more things at play here than just McCarthy calling plays. I’m sure that’s not the reason why we’re outta the playoffs at this points for two straight seasons. I acknowledge that we miss Joe Philbin but I know we can definitely get back to domination on both sides of the ball. Greg Jennings will be missed, I’m sure, by most, if not all, Pack fans but we can definitely move on and stay strong. The Pack still owns the North. Every season we’ll have a chance in the post-season so let’s stay positive. (Unlike that boring, old man Vic. Ugh.) Go Pack!

What defensive player(s) have the Packers drafted in early rounds other than CM that has made a significant and ongoing impact? Most I have seen are either continually hurt, can’t tackle or are a complete bust. Go for some seasoned players available through trades or plan B. You can’t put a dollar on NFL playing experience. Young players make faster mistakes.

My question: Who is the actual OC? When AR comes back from series he is always sitting with Clements going over what had happened during that series, so where is the quarterback coach? You never see TC’s standing by MC discussing plays? It really appears that MC is making all of the offensive calls. Who is MC talking to upstairs? Who ever it is has not done a good job compared to Philbin???
    Go Pack Go!!

I think the difference the 2nd round of the playoffs the last two seasons why we lost is because Joe Philbin wasn’t there. I think the team missed him a lot. He seemed to motivate the team especially during the great Super Bowl run!

Packer Fans we will heal with time! Right now I am over the punch in the Gut feeling! Ted Thompson will have another great Draft this April and the all the injured players will be back in training camp! Who knows maybe next season the Pack won’t have any injuries during the season. We are about due for one of those don’t you think?

I think TT should go after a new training staff because we havent been able to field our team at full strength in a little over 3 years. Also I think we need better front seven coaches. Mike Trogrvac and Winston Moss not be teaching penetration.

Also what happened to tramon Williams he was great last year, and burnt toast this year.what happened?

  27. By Roger on Jan 21, 2013 | Reply

I, for one, believe Pack did extremely well this season considering the number of key injuries throughout the season. First of all, the last 2 1st round picks go out for the season with injuries, and it seemed we lost a key player for varying amounts of time every week to injury. Thought TT did a heck of a job bringing in Harris to play RB once Benson went out. Next draft will be huge to get more quality depth, as well as player development. After the super bowl is over, I will be awaiting draft day to see what gets taken care of.

How sad is it the Packers will not being playing in the Super Bowl against a team they would absolutely destroy. I’m still trying to get the 49ers debacle out of my system. The guy I feel the worst for is A-Rod. Most people will forever remember his interception overthrow of Jordy Nelson as a critical error, when, in fact, Jordo caused the INT by inexplicably cutting off his post pattern. No word on whether Jordo is seeking help for ADD.

Tramon has never been the same player as he was early in his career when he used to explode opposing receivers. Unlike a lot of guys at his position, it appears to me like Tramon is NOT using PEDs like HGH, synthetic testosterone, Adderall and Cialis. Don’t think this doesn’t make a difference. As Tramon has gotten older, his body has worn down and he’s not nearly as explosive of a hitter. If. as I suspect, it’s because he’s clean, I say good for him.

The Pack found a gem in running back DuJuan Harris….. fans will see when he’s givin a full season. He runs fast, hard and elusive, oh and he can catch out of the back field. Now with him they have the lightning….now where’s the thunder?

  31. By Ricky on Jan 21, 2013 | Reply

We need a tight end, a middle linebacker, and a big nose tackle. We also need some better o lineman. I trust TT will make smart choices in the draft like he always does. Can’t wait for next season! Go pack go!!

  32. By Scott1956 on Jan 21, 2013 | Reply

As long as Capers is here, it won’t matter. Just like it won’t matter who TT drafts for the O-Line, because Campen is USELESS! He’s developed exactly one player, Sitton, in all these years. Look how bad the O-Line is against good teams!

  33. By Andy on Jan 22, 2013 | Reply

I say they keep Finley, I think he is on the verge on maturing in the NFL and will be a star over the next 5 years. Don’t bother drafting talent where you already have it.

Difficult to understand Pro-coaches standing on the “side line” watching NYG and SF play catch like “flag football” while a Offense stands on the sidelines…who is coaching this bunch of teammates? When is the team going to “quit” on the coaching staff?

  35. By airpacker12 on Jan 24, 2013 | Reply

WHY WASTE A PICK ON THE D LINE? HOW MENY TIMES HAVE WE SEEN 1 OR 2 AND SOMTIMES 0 DOWNLINEMEN FORMATIONS ! REGGIE WHITE HIMSELF COULD NOT DO WELL WITH CAPERS.. ALL THESE FORMATIONS CAUSE PLAYERS TO THINK RATHER THAN REACT ! IT ULTIMITLY CAUSES BLOWN COVERAGES AND POOR TACKELING ! TRICKY DOM IS TOOOOO BUSY TRYING TO BE THE FATHER OF A NEW STYLE DEFENSE…A BIG PART OF TRAMON WILLIAMS SAGGING GAME IS DUE TO THIS AS WELL; I ALSO BELEAVE GB HAS 3 GREAT YOUNG DOWN LINMEN ,THE PROBLEM THEY HAVE IS THERE CONSTANTLY DOUBLE TEAMED BECAUSE OF THESE BIZZAR FORMATIONS….

Here’s an idea, get rid of Capers and sign Lovie Smith as dc. Maybe then the pack can learn how to tackle, force turnovers and play defense.

Hey, Bart Starr fan, I’m not a Capers hater, but that Lovie Smith thing you are talking about is kinda inticing.
