Former Packers tackle Peay dies

Posted by Mike Spofford on September 22, 2013 – 7:55 am

Former Packers offensive tackle Francis Peay, who played in 62 games for Green Bay from 1968-72, died on Saturday.

Peay came to the Packers from the New York Giants, who drafted him in the first round, with the No. 10 overall pick, in 1966 after he earned All-America honors at Missouri. Peay played nine years in the NFL in all, including a stint with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He went on to coach at the college level, as an assistant at Notre Dame and as the head coach at Northwestern for six seasons (1986-91).

I still think Aaron Rodgers has some kind of head injury, maybe a mild concussion. he was hit hard many times.
