Coming Up
  • Sat., Apr. 26, 2014 8:00AM - 6:00PM CDT Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale

The sale is taking place earlier than in previous years, due to the construction at Lambeau Field and the work that the Pro Shop team must complete in preparation for the new store, which will open this summer. Visitors to Lambeau Field should enter the Atrium through the Oneida Nation Gate. Parking is available in the lot on Lambeau Field’s east side near the Oneida Nation Gate, which can be accessed off Oneida Street and Lombardi Avenue.

The sale will feature the traditional mix of Pro Shop items greatly reduced in price and other special purchases.

The team’s football operations staff also has provided Packers team apparel no longer in use, including a large assortment of t-shirts, shorts, jackets, jerseys and pants. Some items are practice-worn gear not normally available in the Pro Shop.

The tent sale began in 1994 in the parking lot outside the former Pro Shop on the north end of Lambeau Field and grew into a popular event. Now in its 11th year in the Atrium, the tent sale also was held in the west side stadium concourse in previous years.

Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy will be evaluated on Friday

Posted by Vic Ketchman, packers.com editor on December 12, 2013 – 1:42 pm

GREEN BAY–Aaron Rodgers will undergo a medical evaluation on Friday that will likely determine whatever chance he has of playing in Sunday’s game at Dallas.

“Aaron Rodgers did a little more than yesterday. He was not evaluated today; Wednesdays and Fridays,” Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said on Thursday.

Rodgers was, again, a limited participant in practice on Thursday.

Eddie Lacy hasn’t practiced so far this week, after sustaining an ankle injury in Sunday’s game.

“I feel good about Eddie Lacy. He’ll be evaluated in the morning,” McCarthy said.

They always say that “No news is good news,” but in this case, I don’t think that holds true. I think they’re just stringing us along, playing for time. I think Packers’ fans should make other plans for this year’s playoffs. Good luck, Aaron! Heal up and we’ll see you next season.

They keep pushing this day after day it seems. Is this a good sign that Rodgers may suit up if they are not officially ruling him out?

Damn I hope you come back the team needs you especially since we have a chance to make the playoffs. I really feel we’ll go deep if we make it. Not afraid of the 9′ers or the sea chickens! #clearhimdoc

It’s such a bummer not being able to see him play this weekend but he needs to come back 100% and not risk it. I’m from Dallas and have been looking forward for this game since they released the schedule. I’ll be there regardless cheering Matt on. Hopefully our D can perform to its full potential. GO PACK GO!!

Even though dallas has a terrible defense there is no way we will keep pace with Romo! Our defense is terrible!!

Give me a break! They know right now that Rodgers is not playing this week! If he is not ready he’s not ready! Flynn and the whole team need to step up and win a couple of games without their starter. Look at the what the Bears have done with their backup QB. Time to grow a pair Packer’s!!!

  7. By CESAR on Dec 12, 2013 | Reply

What the Packers should do even if Rogers is cleared is start Flynn and see what he does the 1st couple of series and if he does good keep him in.Now if he sucks put in Rogers for the win!!Remember Packer fans if Rogers does get re injured he has 8 mons to heal til next season.I would rather watch the Packers in the playoffs verse the Dom ik sue(miss spelled) lions and their dirt bag manager lose the the 1st playoff game.We also can get some more players back for the playoffs(Randell Cobb).Go Pack Go!!!

I cant stand when supposed Packer fans spell it ROGERS as appose to the correct spelling RODGERS.

  9. By PennsylvaniaPacker on Dec 12, 2013 | Reply

Play Rodgers as soon as he is medically cleared to play. Design a game plan that “gets the ball out quickly and precludes hits from his blindside.” Just set it up so that he CAN’T get hit or slammed to the ground. He has the intelligence and the discipline (and the quick release) to win the game, even with this sort of strictly limited approach. The guy is amazing.

Lacy is critical. Dallas can’t stop the run, and like to play cover 2. That is a recipe for a huge running game. If Starks starts he should have a good game too, but Lacy could virtually win the game single-handed.

Hopefully Pat Mckenzie clears him after seeing the scan tomorrow. His velocity looked good and he was handing off lefty today in media portion. I think he’ll play.

Our Defense looked good in the second half againsy the Falcons. If we can play good D on Sunday and back up Flynn, we have a decent chance at beating the Cowboys. Then if thigs go good Aaron may be able to return next week. All I can say is this season is reminding me of the 2010 seadon where we had to win out to make the playoffs.

Packers know Rodgers will not be playing, just playing the same game all teams play. Do not want the cowboys to know for sure so they have to prepare for both quarterbacks. If Rodgers had not come out the beginning of the week and whined about how much pain he had last week he may have been cleared. When a player makes 110 million I do not want to hear them whining they are in pain. Play or don’t play but I do not want to hear about pain. Pain is when there are families out there that cannot buy Christmas presents for their family or even feed them. Why doesn’t he take a portion of that unearned salary and help some underpriveledged families. At least he would be doing and helping someone.

Frank…. it is time to be wise not foolhardy. I don’t think the Packers are playing a “wait and see” on purpose. A fractured collarbone must be pretty serious or they would have devised an easy fix by now. (like that suit of armor you suggested)A calculated risk might be the worse thing in the whole equation. Be patient because it could be 8 weeks, (hopefully not).

If an alien species with an advanced enough technology to conquer the speed of light in order to reach us has an interest in us with our relatively primitive levels of technology one would have to ask the question: Why? What can we as living beings give them that technology cannot? What can we do that the best most advanced robotic artificial intelligence cannot? It is so much easier faster and more predictable to work with artificial intelligence than natural intelligence so why would they bother with us?

When Aaron can play he will, yeah we all wish we knew more on the injury but then again so does the other team(s)
Re-break a break and not only will all the fans cringe but so will the whole team.

Of course we all put a lot of emphasis on the QB but to have a chance with Aaron or with Matt we better play Def. like we did 2nd half of the Atl. game for our remaining games.
I still beg for more creativity on our Off. calls (play action, 2 RB sets, more fakes) but I don’t think that will ever happen under MM. Not saying I don’t respect MM, just wish we could expand the menu from only choice of meat and potatoes

When was the last time we were shocked an injured player came back early? ever? I tend to agree that it’s mind games Rodgers will be back. Still, don’t be surprised if Flynn has a blow-out game against Dallas!
p.s. AirPacker, any chance of showing some courtesy and knocking off the ALL-CAPS?….really not necessary, we can hear you.

  75. By toddbook on Dec 13, 2013 | Reply

I don’t get these people that say, “Just sit him for the rest of the year to let him heal”. Don’t you get it? He will only play if it is 100% healed. That means there is no chance that the collarbone is at further risk, at least no more than any other bone in his body. Damn right he should play “if, and when he’s cleared”. These people that say sit him because even if they get to the playoffs they are one and done. Are you serious? It’s whichever team is hottest at the moment and Rodgers always gives a chance to win, as he did in 2010. I also don’t believe they are playing “mind games”. I believe they are evaluating him on the very last day possible to give him the best chance at playing. Chances are he won’t be ready but it’s not mind games.

We can win with Flynn but only if the defense can get off the field during critical times of the game.
The game and season rests on the defense winning the game

The big news is about Aaron’s injury and when he can get back to his greatness. I get it but, lets face it, the bigger news is that the Packers bye week was after week 3. That’s ridiculous!. The Packers are a beat up team. It’s a wonder we have any starters still standing this late in the year.
    16 teams have week 7 a bye
    16 teams have week 8 a bye
The healthiest teams at end of the year seem to make the playoffs.
