Team historian Christl receives lifetime achievement award from PRFA

Posted by Mike Spofford on June 18, 2014 – 1:52 pm

Packers team historian Cliff Christl was recently honored by the Professional Football Researchers Association (PFRA) with the Ralph Hay Award for lifetime achievement.

Christl’s journalism career covering the Packers spans roughly four decades and he has served on the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee since 2002. He also helped create the Packers Heritage Trail, a series of landmarks throughout downtown Green Bay and other nearby areas that explain their connection to Packers history.

Congratulations. History is what makes GB so special. Looking forward to returning, sometime when everything is not buried in snow, and walking the Heritage Trail.

    Thanks for the history lessons.
