GREEN BAY–Running back Eddie Lacy was a full participant in practice on Thursday and has been cleared to play in Sunday’s game against the Jets.
“He looked great,” Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said of his star running back, who sustained a concussion in last Thursday’s season-opening loss in Seattle.
Tackle Bryan Bulaga (knee) and tight end Brandon Bostick (fibula) remained limited in their practice participation. McCarthy said the next two days would determine Bulaga’s availability for Sunday’s game. If he is unable to play, Derek Sherrod would replace Bulaga at right tackle, as Sherrod did in Seattle after Bulaga sustained a knee injury.
“Derek Sherrod needs to play better than he did in Seattle. He recognizes that,” McCarthy said.
Linebacker Brad Jones (quad) did not practice on Thursday and would seem to be unlikely to play on Sunday.
