Raise Hope for Congo is an Enough Project Campaign that is working to end the deadliest war globally since World War II. The program provides activists with tools to educate themselves and their communities about the conflict in Congo, the role of minerals fueling the conflict, and the effects of sexual violence used as a weapon of war. Recently, Rodgers partnered with Raise Hope for Congo to stage a rally at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to raise awareness about what students could do to help end the conflict in Congo.
The campaign runs until Dec. 4. Here are some words from Rodgers in the promotional materials: “I’m flying you and a friend to Green Bay to join me on the field for warmups. That’s right. Prepare to follow in the footsteps of Bart Starr, Reggie White, and Brett Favre as you take your first steps onto the Frozen Tundra. We’ll toss around the pigskin, snap some pics, and experience all that Lambeau Field has to offer. And after, you’ve got two premium seats at the Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons Monday Night Football showdown. I promise it’ll be a day you never forget.” — Aaron Rodgers
