GREEN BAY — Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy didn’t have a full medical report on Tuesday, but he indicated RB Eddie Lacy’s bruised hip was not expected to be a major issue this week.
Lacy did not finish Monday night’s game, turning over the ball-carrying duties to James Starks on the Packers’ final possession. Starks ripped off a 41-yard run to seal the win.
McCarthy suggested several players will be nursing bumps and bruises on the short week before heading to Buffalo, but nothing out of the ordinary at this point.
“I don’t have high concern based off all the information, talking with Dr. McKenzie last night,” McCarthy said. “Coming off a Monday night game, tomorrow will be a lot like a Tuesday, so we’ll see how these guys go through their examinations.”
