ORCHARD PARK, NY–A Buffalo punt return for a touchdown staked the Bills to a 7-3 lead over the Packers following one quarter of play at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday.

Following another stalled Packers possession, Marcus Thigpen returned a Tim Masthay punt 75 yards for a touchdown and the Bills had a 7-3 lead with 2:09 to play in the quarter.

On third-and-8, Aaron Rodgers scrambled from pressure for 19 yards and a first down. Then on third-and-1, James Starks ran for 12 yards and a first down at the Bills 33. The drive stalled and Mason Crosby booted a 45-yard field goal with 4:27 to play in the quarter.

The Packers roared back on the strength of consecutive 15 and 17-yard runs by Eddie Lacy, and then Lacy broke one for 22 yards. From the Bills 21, Rodgers hit Jordy Nelson for 7 yards and a first down. The Packers were at the Bills 12 when the first quarter ended.
