blog-header-imageGREEN BAY — An overflow crowd filled every seat in Nitschke Field and spilled out into the streets to watch the Packers in their first full-pads practice of training camp.

Saturday morning’s practice, the third of camp, featured another cloudless sky and the return of the ever-popular half-line drills that pit offensive and defensive linemen in an inside-run exercise. The drill was punctuated by two rookies, fullback Aaron Ripkowski and linebacker Jake Ryan. They authored the loudest thump of the drill when they met in the hole.

Tight end Andrew Quarless, who missed the first two practices of training camp to attend to a personal issue, was present and in uniform today.

Packers.com will provide an update from Mike McCarthy’s post-practice press conference.
