151112-nn1GREEN BAY — The Packers and Lions know each other, but there’s been change in Detroit and that’s causing the Packers to be wary of this Sunday’s opponent.

“I see them as a talented division opponent coming off a bye week. You trust the video. There’s been a philosophy change on offense. This is a very talented football team and has been for quite some time. Those are the facts and that’s our approach,” Packers Coach Mike McCarthy said on Thursday. “You knuckle down on everything, in case you have to adjust.”

One of McCarthy’s major concerns is with his team’s pass rush, which started fast but has fallen off in the past two games.

“We’re not hitting the quarterback enough the last two weeks. It wasn’t where it was the first six weeks. It’s been brought up in self-scouting and we’re prepared to beat Detroit,” McCarthy said.
