151120-nn1GREEN BAY — The Packers’ injury list is long, but reports are encouraging about one of the list’s key members.

“I thought Eddie looked good yesterday. I thought he had one of his better practices. It looks like he’s bouncing back,” Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said of running back Eddie Lacy, who missed last Sunday’s game against the Lions due to a groin injury.

Rookie wide receiver Ty Montgomery (ankle)?

“Ty did not complete practice yesterday. Today will be a big day for him. He’s not quite there,” McCarthy said.

“It reflects this time of the year. It reflects the stretch we’re going through,” McCarthy added of the Packers’ injuries.

They’ll need every able body for Sunday’s game in Minnesota. The Vikings hold a one-game lead over the Packers in the NFC North title race.

“We’re fortunate that we’ve played a lot of big games, but there’s no denying this is an important game. This is a big opportunity right in front of us. Winning division games on the road is a big challenge,” McCarthy said.
