Aaron Rodgers struggled against dropped passes to throw for 202 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Rodgers appeared to have been examined for a left-hand injury in the third quarter, but he didn’t miss a play.
Just inside three minutes to play in the game, the Packers began a drive at their 20-yard line. At the two-minute warning, the Packers had moved to their 49-yard line.
The big play was to follow. Rodgers completed a pass over the middle to Randall Cobb, who completed a catch-and-run, 32-yard gain to the Bears 19-yard line.
On third-and-7, Rodgers threw to Davante Adams for a first down at the 8. Adams had struggled with drops throughout the game.
Rodgers then threw four consecutive incompletions. His third-down pass was in and out of James Jones’ hands.
The Packers fell to 7-4 and out of a first-place tie with the Vikings. The Bears are 5-6.
