151201-nn1GREEN BAY — The Packers have a chance to have their starting offensive line together for Thursday night’s game in Detroit, but health-wise, the unit isn’t there yet.

Center Corey Linsley (ankle), who missed the Thanksgiving game, has returned to practice on a limited basis, but right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle), who exited last Thursday in favor of Don Barclay, has not yet practiced this week. Head Coach Mike McCarthy is not ruling him out, though.

“I thought he was going to practice (on Monday), but he’s still working through some things,” McCarthy said on Tuesday. “I think you have to be realistic about the time frame these guys are going through. An extra day or two is important right now. With our schedule today, I think all these guys will have a chance to bounce back, and we’ll see how practice goes tomorrow.”

Guards T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton are also on the injury report as limited participants, but neither has missed any games this season. The Packers will have one final on-field workout on Wednesday before boarding the plane for Detroit.

On defense, linebacker Julius Peppers’ day off from practice on Monday was a “coach’s decision,” McCarthy said.

“He obviously doesn’t like to miss practice,” McCarthy said. “That was a decision I think we needed to make, just give him a day.”
