It’s run the ball or bust; I love it

Lots of running. It’s your kind of game, huh?

I love tight-formation football. I have already seen nine in the box. It’s Army vs. Navy.

Carl from Mansfield, OH

Commit to the run and grind and grind and grind. Take away the Viking will to live.

Each team knows the other team’s game plan. This is a take-what-you-want football game.

John from Green Bay, WI

How much purple do you see in the stands tonight?

A lot.

Jake from Grand Marais, MN

Who’s your 2015 MVP?

Josh Sitton.

Tom from Aberdeen, SD

Is Randy implying Vikings fans don’t have jobs? That’s funny!

Here’s the information I said I would try to find: Nearly 70 percent of today’s ticket holders live within 75 miles of Lambeau Field.

Tyler of Menominie, WI

How are the Packers doing with winning games?

They’ve won 10 times and they’re trying to make it 11. Only five teams in the league have won more than 11 games.

Gene from Ocean View, DE

Pro football is about winning Super Bowls. Period. Number of wins, division titles are nice for a coach’s resume, but that’s it. Vince Lombardi wouldn’t settle for less; we shouldn’t. No more, please, about wins, playoff games, division titles, etc. Chuck Noll won four Super Bowls. McCarthy is not remotely in his league.

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch … you’re as cuddly as a cactus. You’re my kind of guy.

Gene from Los Angeles, CA

Vic, what are you thinking about the Cardinals being the best team in football after the whooping the Seahawks put on them? Who can figure it?

We don’t need to figure it. All we have to do is watch. Soon, we’ll know who the best is.

Rick from Crown Points, IN

What are the Cardinals, Seahawks and Panthers doing to be so successful? They all look like Super Bowl contenders. Where do they find these guys?

They find some of them at the top of the draft. Do you wanna do what it takes to get there?

Joshua from Cable, WI

What did you think of that first drive by the Packers?

Eight of the first nine plays were runs. I’ll forgive that one pass.

Kyle from Spooner, WI

Sitton starts at LT. Thoughts?

That told us all we needed to know about the game plan. He’s not there to pass block.

Kevin from Neptune, NJ

I noticed Aaron isn’t wearing a captain’s patch tonight. Any idea why that is?

The Packers haven’t worn captain patches this season. Captains are weekly during the regular season. This isn’t his week. Captains for the playoffs will be named this week. The captains tonight are Corey Linsley (offense), Morgan Burnett (defense) and Tim Masthay (special teams).

Brian from Champaign, IL

Those receivers need to get open on non-play-action plays.

How about that screen pass for -7 yards? The Vikings seem to be on screen alert. The ball has to get thrown down the field or the field will continue to tighten.
