Vic, is it just me or has Aaron lost his accuracy? Or is it the wind?
It’s windy but I don’t sense it’s disruptive. Aaron Rodgers has the arm strength to cut this wind. He’s beginning to move the ball now.
Nick from Springfield, VA
I get the feeling the Packers defense is on the verge of making some big plays. What do you see so far?
I thought Casey Hayward had a pick six, but Jordan Reed made a one-handed catch.
Gene from Los Angeles, CA
This could be getting out of hand real quick if the offense doesn’t turn it around.
Rodgers just threw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb. Game on!
Kevin from Westport, WA
I guess you are what you are. What do you think has to change?
It just did.
Jonathan from Darien, IL
Aaron Rodgers keeps having to throw off his back foot. How do we slow down the pass rush?
He’s had time to throw. It’s not all on the offensive line.
Clarence from Columbus, OH
Can we do some WR sweeps, pocket slides, more bunch formations, screens? Easy stuff rather than hope Rodgers throw a perfect pass every play?
I have an idea: Play with the desperation those guys did last night. Play as though it’s the last football game you’ll ever play in your life. I didn’t hear anybody talking about play-calling last night.
Mark from Iowa City, IA
Vic, why did McCarthy decide to receive at the beginning of the game when the offense has been struggling and the defense has been performing well? Do you think it was a message of confidence to the offense?
I think it was a challenge to the offense.
Marc from Brownsburg, IN
What is the issue today for the offense? Aaron simply missing pass after pass?
I saw one pass that bothered me. Randall Cobb was open on a flag route and Rodgers missed him. What bothered me is he threw off his back foot.
Jim from Lake Ridge, VA
I was at the rally. This one is on you, Vic.
It’s early. Give me a chance.
Tom from Trumbull, CT
Vic, I’ve never seen Aaron’s footwork so bad. He hasn’t set his feet yet, even when he has time.
He set his feet on the deep throw to James Jones. He got lots of time and he stayed in the pocket and surveyed the field. Maybe that’ll be a game-changer.
Daniel from Tehachapi, CA
I know you say line up and play, but we can’t seem to win without the gimmicks. I just want the win. I don’t care how we get it.
If you don’t block and tackle, you can’t win in the postseason.
Marty from Milwaukee, WI
Is it time for a coaching change? The Packers are a mess.
It’s not time for a coaching change. Mike McCarthy is the coach today and he will be the coach next year. How do you like the way he managed the clock outside the 2-minute warning? Also, the Packers are not a mess. They’re winning!
