Packers linebacker Julius Peppers is one of 34 current and former NFL players who will take part in the inaugural NFL Business Academy, set for Feb. 29-March 4 at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
The five-day program, which is named for Miami Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross, includes seminars in business management, entrepreneurship, franchising, product design and real estate.
“We are dedicated to preparing our players for the next phase in their lives,” said Charles Way, vice president of NFL Player Engagement. “This expanded program provides the education, mentorship and business advice that will help our players and their significant others to achieve success in a variety of careers after their time on the field.”
Also participating in the program are former Packers DuJuan Harris (49ers) and Marshall Newhouse (Giants).
