Pregame warmup: Rain chance diminishing at Lambeau

GREEN BAY — Earlier in the week, the forecast practically guaranteed rain for Friday’s preseason game between the Packers and Browns at Lambeau Field, but with kickoff approaching, the chances of rain are now very slim.

It’s cloudy in Green Bay, but the current forecast is for a 15 percent chance of rain during the evening. Temperatures are expected to drop from the mid-70s into the high 60s with minimal winds.

Depth chart battle: With QBs Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley both sitting out tonight, the Packers will be turning their offense over to rookies Joe Callahan and Marquise Williams, as the battle for the third QB job begins. Whether the winner gets a spot on the active roster or (more likely) the practice squad remains to be seen, but the two young guys will be getting plenty of snaps tonight.
