    ‘Project Play 60’, the Green Bay Packers’ event that is focused on getting kids out of the house to enjoy non-strenuous physical activity, is set for Saturday, March 7.

    The free community event is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will take place in both the Lambeau Field Atrium and the Legends Club on the fourth floor. Parking will be free for guests participating in Project Play 60, and attendees may enter the Atrium through the Oneida Nation Gate, American Family Insurance Gate or Miller Lite Gate.

    The Green Bay Packers announced plans for the 10th anniversary ‘Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour,’ set for April 14-18. This year’s tour includes three stops in western Wisconsin, in addition to stops in southern and eastern Wisconsin, to visit with fans and thank them in person for their support.

    Tour celebrities will include Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, players Andrew Quarless, Micah Hyde and Casey Hayward, and Packers alumni Gilbert Brown, Antonio Freeman and Bill Schroeder. The tour will also feature special alumni in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Tailgate Tour, Dave Robinson and Jerry Kramer.

Five Packers among leaders in Pro Bowl voting

Five Packers players are currently ranked in the top two at their respective positions in the Pro Bowl voting that is ongoing on NFL.com.

Aaron Rodgers is the No. 2 vote-getter in the entire league and also No. 2 at quarterback behind Denver’s Peyton Manning.

John Kuhn leads the voting at fullback, while Jordy Nelson and Josh Sitton are second at receiver and guard, respectively. Jarrett Bush is also ranked second in the voting for special teams.

Nelson is No. 9 in overall votes at all positions, the only other Packers player in the league-wide top 10.

Fan voting continues until Monday, Dec. 15, and fans can vote by clicking here. Fan voting counts one-third in the selection process for the 2015 Pro Bowl.

The polls are open – 2014 Pro Bowl voting underway

Online voting for the 2014 Pro Bowl is already underway. Fans can begin voting to select players for the game on Packers.com. Balloting will conclude on Thursday, December 26. The Pro Bowl players will be announced in early January on NFL Network’s “Total Access”.

131021-sitton-300Players will later be assigned to teams through the first-ever Pro Bowl Draft during the week leading up to the game, which will also air on NFL Network.

The 2014 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 26, 2014 and televised live on NBC at 6 p.m. CT from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Six Packers lead NFC Pro Bowl fan voting at their positions

Led by QB Aaron Rodgers, who earned the fifth-most votes overall in the recently concluded fan voting for the Pro Bowl, six Packers pulled in the most votes at their respective positions.

The other position leaders in the NFC are FB John Kuhn, C Jeff Saturday, KR Randall Cobb, OLB Clay Matthews and SS Charles Woodson.

Voting by the players and coaches has not yet been tabulated. Fan voting counts one-third in the selection process for the Pro Bowl rosters, which will be announced next Wednesday.

As the top NFC QB, Rodgers finished fifth overall in the fan voting with 777,827 votes. Leading the way was Broncos QB Peyton Manning (993,045), followed by Patriots QB Tom Brady (980,099), Texans RB Arian Foster (829,591) and Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (828,255).
