Tuesday morning practice report

A rather uneventful practice from a fan’s point of view. For the first time in camp, the players were not in full pads, and the first hour of the 90-minute workout was a jog-through period to make corrections on the installations completed so far. The players will return to the field Tuesday night in full pads.

Rookie OL Marshall Newhouse missed the workout after sustaining a concussion on Monday. Rookie WR Jeff Moturi also sat out, though his injury was not addressed.

A few veterans and other players coming off of injury did not practice. That group included T Mark Tauscher, T Chad Clifton, S Derrick Martin and DE Ronald Talley.

S Atari Bigby has traveled to North Carolina for further studies on his ankle, according to Head Coach Mike McCarthy. CB Al Harris (knee), LB  Brad Jones (back) and RB James Starks (hamstring) remained sidelined.

During the one team period of practice, crowd noise was being piped in. The only real notable play was rookie WR Charles Dillon getting behind the defense on a missed assignment and catching a long pass from QB Aaron Rodgers.
