The Packers had their backups in on defense on Kansas City’s second series, while the Chiefs left their starters in on offense, and it looked like Kansas City would go right down the field for a score.
RB Thomas Jones had runs of 9 and 17 yards, and RB Dexter McCluster took a naked pitch 14 yards. But on the first pass attempt of the drive, QB Matt Cassel threw behind WR Dwayne Bowe on a stop route and CB Jarrett Bush was right there for the INT.
Still scoreless, and the Packers are still looking for their first first down as they begin their third possession with 8:30 left in the first quarter.
With Woodson out, Bush was in the game as the nickel corner on the opening series and now is paired with Sam Shields as the two corners in the base defense.
