Finley at it again
Posted by on September 27, 2010 – 9:53 pmWith seven catches for 108 yards through three quarters, TE Jermichael Finley has back-to-back 100-yard games for the first time in his career. It’s only the second time in team history a TE has posted consecutive 100-yard games. The other was Paul Coffman in 1979.
Finley also is already leading the league in receiving yards among TEs through three games. His 257 yards are ahead of San Diego’s Antonio Gates, who has 242. It’s also the most yards by a TE through three games in team history, beating Coffman’s 171 in 1982.
