A word about the lineups

The Packers are going with the same starting lineup as last Monday in Chicago, which means Frank Zombo is starting at ROLB. For the fourth straight game, the Packers also are going with just seven active offensive linemen. The only active linemen in reserve are G/C Jason Spitz and T/G Bryan Bulaga.

Lions RB Jahvid Best, who has been battling a toe injury, is active and expected to start. The absences of Sammie Hill on the defensive line and DeAndre Levy at linebacker hurt Detroit’s depth in the front seven, but with Best and WR Calvin Johnson on offense, the Lions have two legitimate big-play threats.
