Packers 28, Lions 23

Hanson is good from 49 yards out, his third FG of the second half. It’s a five-point game with 13:35 to go.

The Lions got a big assist on that drive from a 15-yard facemask penalty on LB A.J. Hawk. But CB Jarrett Bush came up with a big play, knocking a pass out of TE Brandon Pettigrew’s hands on third-and-9 from the 30, forcing the FG try. Had Pettigrew hung on, he would have had enough yardage for the first down.

Another note … on Hanson’s last FG, the 52-yarder, he extended his own NFL record for 50-plus-yard FGs. He now has 43 in his career.
