Big stop by the D

The Redskins went nothing but backwards after the big early turnover. Two runs resulted in a loss of a yard, and then a shotgun snap on third down went over QB Donovan McNabb’s head, and LB Clay Matthews got his eighth sack of the season, a 22-yard loss forcing a punt.

What looked like a sure field goal at least turned into no points at all. Huge defensive sequence to open the game.
