Wasted opportunity
Posted by on October 10, 2010 – 12:53 pmThe Packers drove the ball 85 yards and came away with nothing. After six straight completions put the ball on the 1, the Packers had second-and-goal. But a Kuhn run got nothing, as did a Rodgers sneak. Deciding to go for it on fourth-and-goal, the Packers tried a fade pass to rookie TE Andrew Quarless, but the pass hit LB Lorenzo Alexander in the back of the helmet and the Packers were turned away.
It’s 7-0 with 12:11 left in the first half.
Redskins have first down on their own 1.
