Another three-and-out

Miami once again can’t take advantage of the good field position, going three-and-out for the second straight drive and punting.

On third-and-2 from the Green Bay 43, LB Desmond Bishop broke up a quick out pass to Bess with a nice play, forcing the punt.

At that spot on the field, it might have been tempting for Miami to go for the first down. But the Dolphins didn’t appear to hesitate, sending out the punting unit right away. Head coach Tony Sparano is counting on his defense to get another quick stop and get the ball back in good field position again. It’s up to the Packers to foil that.

Packers take over, after a fair catch, on their own 9-yard line with 7:10 left. Still tied at 13.
