Just like that, after a Miami timeout, CB Tramon Williams jumped an out route to Marshall and picked off the pass, giving the Packers a much-needed stop.
Then on the first snap, Rodgers hit Greg Jennings in stride for an 86-yard TD, a career-long pass and reception for both.
It’s 10-7 Packers with 1:03 left in the first.
What a turn of events. Miami looked poised to go up 14-3 or 10-3 at the very least, but called a timeout on first down. Two snaps later, it’s 86 yards the other way and the Packers have the lead.
The career long pass and reception for Rodgers and Jennings, respectively, prior to this was an 83-yard TD at Pittsburgh last year that the two connected on.
