Starting LG Daryn Colledge, who started having some back trouble in practice on Wednesday, was not at practice in the portion open to the media on Thursday. Colledge has yet to miss a game in his career, so we’ll find out after practice from Coach McCarthy how serious the injury is.
The logical replacement if Colledge can’t go would be Jason Spitz, who subbed a few snaps for Colledge last Sunday against the Jets when Colledge had a problem with his equipment.
TE Andrew Quarless was doing some work in the media portion of practice after sitting out on Wednesday.
Among others on the injury report, CB Charles Woodson, S Nick Collins, LB Clay Matthews and DE Ryan Pickett all participated in the opening jog-through portion of practice.
