Penalty statistics
Posted by on November 22, 2010 – 6:06 pmThe Packers had just one penalty at the Metrodome yesterday, the first time they’ve ever played in that building and been flagged only once.
It was the fourth straight game this season the Packers have been penalized three or fewer times, and the sixth game this year with three or fewer penalties. The Packers are 6-0 in those games.
Statistically the drop in penalties is significant compared to prior years, and since Week 3 in Chicago, when a franchise-record 18 penalties contributed mightily to a last-second loss.
