According to a press release from NBC, Sunday night’s Packers-Patriots game was watched by 24.2 million viewers, making it the fourth most-watched SNF game of the season.
That gives the Packers two of the top four SNF games this season in terms of viewers, as the Week 7 game between the Vikings and Packers at Lambeau Field drew 25.68 million viewers. That was the No. 1 SNF game of the season until a little over a week ago, when the Week 14 Eagles-Cowboys game drew 25.73 million.
Also, ESPNNEWS this Friday (Dec. 24) will air a program entitled SportsCenter Special: My Wish, which will highlight some of ESPN’s collaborations with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the past year. One of those involved Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and 13-year-old Anna Schmidt, who spent a day with Rodgers during training camp this past summer. The 30-minute special, which will run continuously from 10:30 p.m. CT Friday until 1 p.m. CT Saturday, will include updates on the Make-A-Wish youth.
