Capers on being a head coach
Posted by on February 26, 2011 – 1:53 pmINDIANAPOLIS–Dom Capers and Dick LeBeau are the two biggest names in defensive football over the last two decades and they faced each other in the Super Bowl. LeBeau, 73, is likely going to finish his career as a coordinator. At 60, however, Capers is still young enough to climb back into the head coach arena.
“I love my job. I’m not unfulfilled. I could stay in Green Bay and close out my career, but if I thought it was a situation in which you could win, I’d do it,” Capers told packers.com when asked if he would be interested in another stint as a head coach. Capers has been the head coach of two expansion franchises: Carolina and Houston.
