New ideas for packers.com

We’re kicking around some new ideas for content on packers.com. Some of those ideas really intrigue me. The rich Packers history allows for such innovative content. We’re not ready to announce anything, yet, but I hope we can start soon. This is a cool place, and I’m not talkin’ about the weather.

What I want readers to understand is that everything we do is with you in mind. Some of our content will be heavy on the information side and some of it will be tilted toward the entertainment aspect. I hope that in time you’ll be able to distinguish between the two. “Ask Vic” will blur the line on occasion, but I think that once you get to know me, you won’t have any trouble distinguishing between the two.

There seems to be a lot of concern among the “Ask Vic” questions I’m receiving about my regard for the job, the team and the town. Trust me. There is no need for concern. I have an intense respect for the history of the game; it’s one of the major reasons I’m here. In what is likely the last stop of my career, I’d like to get a little closer to the past, one more time.
