So, how long will the Packers have to wait to make their pick at No. 32 overall, provided they don’t trade it? Well, last year’s first round of the draft took three hours and 29 minutes to complete, so figure on the Packers going on the clock at about 10:20 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 28, if this year’s first round is similar in length to last year’s. Each team selecting will have 10 minutes to make their pick.

Day two, which begins at 5 p.m. and includes rounds two and three, took four hours and six minutes to complete last year. Teams will have seven minutes to make their picks in round two and five minutes in all succeeding rounds.

The third day of the draft, rounds 4-7, required seven hours and eight minutes to finish last year. Day three, Saturday, April 30, will begin at 11 a.m.
