Lions trade up too for another 2nd-rounder

The Lions moved up 18 spots, from No. 75 in the third round to No. 57 in the second round, to take RB Mikel Leshoure from Illinois.

That could be a pretty dynamic 1-2 punch in the backfield with Jahvid Best, a first-round pick last year.

That’s two offensive skill players for the Lions in this round. Barring any more trades, that’s Detroit’s last pick tonight.

From Vic’s chat: There goes Leshoure. I got bad news, guys. The Lions are kickin’ butt in this draft. It’s all falling in their favor. Circle that game on Thanksgiving and start buying tickets for it.
