With their final pick of the 2011 draft, in the seventh round at No. 233 overall, the Packers have selected Arizona State defensive lineman Lawrence Guy.
Listed at 6-5 and 300 pounds, Guy was a three-year starter at defensive tackle for the Sun Devils who recorded eight sacks and 23 tackles for loss in his career. He started 31 games.
He’ll project as a defensive end in the Packers’ 3-4 scheme. An early entry int he draft, he earned honorable mention in the Pac 10 all three seasons and was a freshman All-America in 2008.
