GREEN BAY–Midway through the first practice of training camp on Friday, the rain was a welcome no-show, as fans packed the stands at Ray Nitschke Field. Skies were leaden and temperatures were in the high 60s.

The Packers eased into the training camp regimen with a series of position drills that stressed fundamentals. One of the focuses of spring OTAs — creating more turnovers on defense — continued into training camp.

Ten players did not participate in practice. They included running back DuJuan Harris, cornerbacks Casey Hayward and Davon House, offensive lineman Derek Sherrod and defensive linemen Mike Neal and Jerel Worthy. It was unknown as to how many of those players were on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. will provide a full report following the completion of practice.
